English I (9th grade)
English II (10th grade)
English III (11th grade)
English IV (12th grade)
Algebra I (9th grade)
Geometry (10th grade)
Algebra II (11th grade)
Physical Science (9th grade)
Biology (10th grade)
Chemistry (11th grade)
Geography (9th grade)
Civics (10th grade)
American History (11th grade)
Fine Arts Survey (11th or 12th grade)
If Fine Arts Survey is not available, Physics, Advanced Math, World History, or Biology II may be substituted

Spanish I ( 9th,10th or 11th grade)
Spanish II ( 10, 11th or 12th grade)
Computer Science (10th, 11th, or 12th grade )

Additional Science or Math ( can be Advanced Math or Physics or Biology II )

Note: All these courses must be taken to qualifyfor TOPS (17.5 credits), and only the grades earned on these courses will be averaged to determine GPA for TOPS qualification. Also, the completion of this curriculum will be necessary for entry into most colleges.

The TOPS Opportunity Award is awarded to students who complete the TOPS Curriculum with at least a 2.5 GPA on core courses and at least a score of 20 on the ACT Test. This pays 8 semesters of college tuition.

The TOPS Performance Award is awarded to students who achieve a 3.0 or higher GPA and a 23-26 ACT score. This pays an additional $400.00 per year.

The TOPS Honors Award is awarded to students who achieve a 3.0 or higher GPA and a 27-36 ACT score. This pays $800.00 per year in addition to the TOPS Opportunity Award.
